Severine is a physical oceanographer and hydrodynamic modeller at the Centre’s James Cook University node. Following undergraduate training in engineering in France, she was awarded a PhD in physics and mathematics from James Cook University in 2011. She has extensive experience in physical oceanography, specialising in the analysis of ocean observations, satellite imagery, and the development of physical and bio-physical models with individual-based biological components.
