J. Charles Fox

Chuck coordinates Oceans 5 on behalf of its Partners and Members. Prior to joining Oceans 5, he served in senior positions with federal and state governments, as well as nonprofit and philanthropic organizations. He served as the Assistant Administrator for Water at the US Environmental Protection Agency and as the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Fox also directed the international ocean conservation programs for the Pew Charitable Trusts and served with several conservation organizations including American Rivers, Friends of the Earth and the Environmental Policy Institute. Fox is viewed as a thoughtful, results-oriented manager with 30 years of experience in the field.
