Paula’s PhD research is focused around metocean drivers of turbidity in the Exmouth Gulf, how climate change could affect these processes and the effect on benthic habitats in this ecologically unique region.
The research is multi-disciplinary incorporating remote sensing, spatial ecology and oceanography. Her supervisory team consists of Ryan Lowe (UWA), Peter Fearns (Curtin University), Mick O’Leary (UWA) and Nicola Browne (Curtin University).
