How quickly do you respond to messages?
We aim to respond to all genuine inquiries within 3-5 business days. Spam and automated messages are not answered. If you don't hear from us within a week, check your spam folder or try emailing directly.
Can I republish your articles?
All CoralCoe content is original research and writing. We appreciate links and citations. For reprint permissions or licensed republication, please contact us directly with your proposal.
Do you accept guest posts or contributed articles?
We occasionally feature guest posts from reef scientists and experienced divers. If you have a story grounded in scientific research or firsthand reef experience, pitch your idea. No unsolicited content, please - send a brief proposal first.
Are you affiliated with academic institutions?
CoralCoe draws on research from James Cook University and the broader coral reef science community, but operates independently. Our founder studied at JCU; we consult with JCU researchers and cite peer-reviewed science extensively.
Can I use your content in my dive operation or tourism business?
Our guides and articles are written for divers and reef enthusiasts. If you want to use our content in your business, let's talk. We have licensing arrangements available for tour operators, dive shops, and tourism businesses.
How are you funded? Do you have sponsors?
CoralCoe is currently independent. We may accept sponsorship from conservation organizations, ethical dive operators, and educational institutions aligned with our mission - but only partnerships that enhance, not compromise, our scientific integrity.
