Daniel Ruzzante, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

Where: ARC Centre of Excellence Conference Room, JCU (DB44)

When: Monday 6 July 2009, 11:00 am

Dr Daniel Ruzzante is Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Marine Conservation Genetics at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. His research focuses on the evolutionary biology and conservation genetics of exploited and non-exploited marine, anadromous, and freshwater fish. The presentation will focus on his past and current research on how variation in life history traits, demography and environment affect the spatial and temporal distribution of genetic diversity in marine and anadromous fishes.
