Keith Brander is currently based in Hobart on a short fellowship with the Climate Adaptation Flagship. Recent research has been on how the objectives of marine management in relation to biodiversity, "ecosystem health" and food production can be achieved and how they are affected by climate change. Keith was lead author on fisheries for the 4th IPCC report and also contributed to the chapters on impacts of climate and marine ecosystems. He coordinated the ICES/GLOBEC Cod and Climate Change programme.
